My like of turtles has expanded ever since I read this book called “Time for Lunch Turtles”. It was about these turtles that lived by a lake with there mother, father and 1 boy and 3 girls and every day mother turtle would find fresh apples for the children to eat. One day the apples were GONE! Mother turtle couldn’t find any more apples. She looked by the lake, by the farm and in the grass but she couldn’t find more apples and the children started to cry. One day a man had picked all of the apples and mother turtle marched right to the man and asked for 4 apples. He gave her the 4 apples she gave them to her 4 children and they lived happily ever after.
